What we do
All tree work, and the mess taken away with it
Everything below is done by Richard and the crew with their own gear, their own tipper and their own chipper. There is no subbing it out and no waiting three weeks on a machine to come free.

Work near power lines
Limbs and whole trees removed from around live power lines. It is the job most blokes with a chainsaw will not touch, and it is the one customers keep writing reviews about.

Pruning and lopping
Crown lifting, thinning, deadwooding, and cutting a big tree back off a roof or a driveway. Trimmed to what you actually want, not just hacked into a ball.

Stump grinding
Stumps ground out below the surface with a Bandit Model 2100 so you can turf over the top, replant, or get a mower across it without catching a blade.

Experienced climbers
Roped, harnessed climbers who go up rather than waiting on a lift to fit down the side of the house. Chainsaw on the harness, rigging line to the ground crew.

Mulch sales
Mulch from the chipper, sold by the load. Straight off the truck onto the garden beds, which beats paying bagged prices at the hardware.
About Richard
Over twenty five years, and he still quotes it himself
Richard Taylor Tree Services is Richard's own business, and the name on the truck is his. He has over twenty five years of experience climbing and taking trees down, and these days runs the job across the Huon Valley with a small crew.
When you ring, Richard is the one who comes and looks at the tree. He will tell you what he reckons needs doing, what it will cost, and whether it actually needs doing at all. Customers keep mentioning the same three things in their reviews: he quotes quickly, he turns up when he said he would, and the site is clean when he leaves.
The crew are experienced climbers, so a tree up the back with no access for a lift is not a problem. Everything is fully insured.

A stump left in the ground is a trip hazard, a mower killer and a place for rot to set in. The Bandit Model 2100 grinds it out below the surface so you can turf over it, plant into it, or just get the mower across without wrecking a blade.
